Parents have the opportunity to learn about mental wellness and youth and also hear from a parent with lived experience navigating the system and supports for her own children.

A panel presentation of parents and youth will share their experiences with the move to high school. This will be followed up with an opportunity to learn about TVCC programs and services for youth during the high school years.

During this guided discussion, we focus on autism and behavioural strategies and provide helpful resources.

For those who are experiencing challenges with any part of toilet training. As a group, participants will have a chance to ask their own questions as well.

What is Going On? An Intro to Puberty and Sexuality

This presentation will teach you how to use behavioural strategies to prepare for, and minimize, the challenges associated with puberty for teens with autism.
Sensory 101 (Mar 21)
A webinar welcoming parents and caregivers of preschool age children who may have sensory challenges. Parents will be introduced to what the sensory systems are and how they work.
Cooperation 101 (Mar 21 or 30)

A SUBSCRIPTION OF THE MONTH CLUB! Select any or all of the resource items you would like to receive. At the end of each month, you will receive a package in the mail with the selected item.
Caregivers Connecting Virtual Chat
Make friends, connect with others, share resources, network, tell your story or just hang out and know that you're among friends in this non-judgmental and understanding group.
The Wellness Project: Music Mondays (12 yrs +)
Explore your emotions through music. On Mondays, we'll gather together and listen to the songs everyone chose and talk about them and how they made us feel.
The Wellness Project: Lego Club (12 yrs +)
Each session, there will be a guided group activity where participants will work together to build something out of Lego, followed by some open creative building.
Horizons & the Wellness Project: Board Game Night (12 yrs +)
Join us for a fun social board game night! We'll have a variety of games to choose from.
Coffee and Conversation (Parents/Caregivers)
Caregivers and parents of youth 12 yrs+ can share their experiences, information, challenges, successes and strategies, or just hang out and drink some coffee!

Horizons & The Wellness Project: Fun Fridays (12 yrs +)
With something new each Friday, this event is structured around two common themes: FUN and FRIENDS. Youth-aged siblings are also more than welcome to attend.
Join us for a Friday of fun, during March Break, hosted by TVCC Horizons and The Wellness Project!
Participants spend the afternoon and evening having fun and making friends. A pizza dinner and snacks will be provided!
