The Graduates

Congratulations Leadership Contra Costa Class of 2016 - 2017

Leadership Contra Costa  ended its 30th year on a high note on Thursday, May 11 with the Leadership Contra Costa Class of 2017-2018 graduation ceremony at Scott's Seafood, Walnut Creek. The graduation ceremony was lead by Walnut Creek Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau Chair Mary Brooks. Attendees heard from guest speaker, Kish Rajan, who has a 20-year track record of success in government and the private sector. Graduating class participants Gail Dutcher and Iman Novin shared parting thoughts and notable moments from the class. Walnut Creek Chamber Senior Vice President Marcie Hochhauser, who has been with the program since its inception, presented the class with their graduation plaques and congratulation certificates from Congressman Mark DeSaulnier, State Senator Steve Glazer, Assemblywoman Catharine Baker and Assemblymember Timothy Grayson, and District Supervisors Candace Andersen and Karen Mitchoff. All twenty eight grads now join the ever-growing Leadership Contra Costa Alumni Association, with all the benefits and friendships it has to offer. It was a wonderful evening and a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our 28 grads who have been on an enlightening learning journey since the classes began in October. Congratulations!
