Exploring Our Planet Lecture Series

Shrinking Abundance of Water🌍

This is the LAST seminar of the season in this

educational & captivating series!

Explore the wonders of the planet with Geologist and Scientist, Jack Thomas.

Complimentary beer and wine will be provided.

Having earned a PhD. In Geology, Jack has worked on energy and environmental projects all over the world. He has served as a college professor, research scientist, petrophysical explorer, trainer, and environmentalist. His publications led to lecturing in Southeast Asia and the Middle East for an international engineering society. Since 2006 he has been an invited lecturer on ocean cruises folding together his interest in the interaction between Earth history and human history.

Sanibel Latin Dance Social💃🏻

This is the LAST social of the season in this crowd-pleasing series!

Join us for a night full of dance, drinks, and excitement!

With 18 years of teaching and serving the ever-growing dance community, Anthony continues to build upon and provide his best. From beginners to more advanced, he brings joy and passion.

Walk-ins are welcome, make sure to come early and don’t miss the first hour of class to learn the moves. The Second hour is when you can get more one on one time with Anthony the dance instructor. He is also available for private classes. He hosts Dance Socials in Fort Myers every month, make sure to check him out.

Healthy Cooking Class

Plant Based Desserts & Snacks😋

This is the last seminar of the season in this well-liked series!

Learn to cook healthy meals and sample the dishes from Certified Plant Based Fusion Cook, Joyce Thomas!

Degreed in-Home Economics, Joyce taught home economics in public schools and later became a home economist for the Litton Corporation. Currently, she has a certification from the Plant Based Fusion Cooking Academy and teaches plant-based cooking. In her classes, Joyce stresses simple and easy dishes while focusing on the health benefits of a plant-based lifestyle.

We, like so many others, are deeply saddened by Leoma Lovegrove's recent passing and offer our deepest condolences to all who knew and loved her. We are honored that we had the opportunity to partner with her post-Hurricane Ian. Her philanthropy, bright smile, and love of Sanibel, Captiva and all of SWFL will be greatly missed.🩷
