Come join us at the March Arts & Crafts Fair, indoors at the Community House! Show your support for local artists and discover a wide variety of uniquely Sanibel items at this event.
Offering unique, handmade art, crafts, accessories and more, including: original paintings by your favorite local artists, tropical decor, shell crafts, jewelry, purses & totes, hand-sewn accessories, greeting cards, pottery & ceramics, delicious baked goods, and more.

Sanibel Art Hop
Sunday, March 22nd
2-5pm
Start your afternoon at the Sanibel Community House, which serves as the official jumping-off point for the Art Hop. From there, hop around to all seven participating galleries, meet local artists, and enjoy the creative energy that makes Sanibel’s art community so special.
Be sure to pick up your ART HOP PASSPORT and have it stamped at each gallery you visit. Once your passport is filled, you can redeem it for a special treat from our friends at Rosalita’s Cantina.
Sanibel Art Hop is a monthly celebration of local art, creativity, and community.

Brad MacKenzie and Peter Zell: Painters
Before you grab your ART HOP PASSPORT and hop to the local participating galleries, please stay and browse the beautiful collaborative exhibit we have on display and for sale by local artists, Brad MacKenzie & Peter Zell.
Their exhibit, "Painters" is available for viewing and purchase through April 17.
A percentage of the proceeds from any of Brad's or Peter's artwork sales will be donated to Sanibel Community Association.

Brad MacKenzie, is an oil painter and known on the island as “Brad the Beekeeper,” purveyor of the famed Sanibel Honey. He has lived on the island full-time since 2019 and is the manager for the Island Management Community Association. Brad says his paintings and drawings “capture a spark of something familiar, but not quite tangible, that resonates with our shared experiences…” He is a member of the Sanibel-Captiva Art League and has shown his artwork in Sanibel, Captiva and Maine.

Peter Zell is a retired attorney who grew up in Southern California. After moving to Sanibel in 2005, he pursued his artistic bent, joining the San-Cap Art League and painting en plein air with like-minded artists on Thursday mornings. He is a past president of the art league and has exhibited his award-winning oil paintings, acrylics and watercolors in California, the Butler Institute of American Art in Ohio, and throughout Southwest Florida. Peter describes his style as “impressionistic, with a touch of abstraction.”
