The Lee Heath System needs your help!
They are especially in need of O Positive and O Negative blood donations.
The Sanibel Community Association will be hosting a blood drive in collaboration with Lee Health at The Sanibel Community House.
Please Help Us Make Our Goal of 10+ Units of Blood.
Your blood donation will help save lives. Please consider registering to donate and make a difference!
All donors will receive a limited-edition donor baseball hat and wellness checkup including blood pressure, temperature, iron count, and cholesterol screening.
All donors must present photo identification with date of birth.
All donors must weigh at least 115 pounds.
We have limited time slots available; registration is important and encouraged.

Join us for a lesson by Paulette Boudreau in the beautiful art of watercolor painting!
Painting with Paulette is fast-moving, encouraging, and definitely fun! You'll start by getting friendly with watercolor -- making swatches, playing with brushstrokes, and mixing color. Then you dive in. Your paper comes pre-drawn with your fish, and the palette is curated so you can focus on process, not guesswork.
Paulette will show you how to work with the water, not against it, encouraging you to loosen up and trust the magic. This class is perfect for beginners or for anybody who needs permission to play.

Mandala Dot Painting 🫙 with Suzanne LaBounty

Join us at The Community House and learn how to create the beautiful "Goodie Jar" design with Suzanne LaBounty!
In this two-hour session, you will discover the meditative and joyous journey of mandala dot painting.
The workshop provides an introduction to mandalas and dot painting, hands-on practice with dot painting tools, an overview of dot painting techniques, and step-by-step guidance for creating your very own mandala art.
This project, “Goodie Jar,” is designed to bring beauty and inspiration to your life and surroundings. Students will leave with their fully painted project along with Finishing Instructions for final touch-up and sealing of their one-of-a-kind art. All materials are provided. Students will be able to choose between two color palettes: Pearly Whites or Fresh Blues!

“Junonia Joy” is a vibrant 30x40 acrylic painting valued at $18,000—an extraordinary piece inspired by the beauty of our island.
