State of the City Address
January 24, 2019

Join us to hear what the NEW Mayor and Council hope to accomplish over the coming year.
The Chamber's State of the City Address is held annually and is a one of a kind event to mark the beginning of a new year. It sets the tone for both Mayor and Council as they set out to tackle the important issues that face our municipality. It has become a must-attend event for the London business community drawing an attendance of over 1,200 people.

Events large and small are coming to London and it’s easy to see why!
This southwestern Ontario city has everything you’ll need to host a corporate or association group, with venues that understand how attention-to-detail can take a program from good to great.
London is an easy drive from Toronto on the 401 Highway—and even closer when you come by air. There are multiple daily flights with Air Canada and WestJet. Delegates can be downtown in 20 minutes from the London International Airport . Another convenient option is VIA Rail . The terminal’s located right downtown, close to the convention centre and major hotels.
Next year the city will host some large city-wide national and international events, utilizing the London Convention Centre , as the facility has the largest ballroom in southwestern Ontario. The 2019 JUNO Awards are coming to town, and in 2020 the city-wide Federation for the Humanities and Social Sciences Congress will pull in the conference facilities at Western University as well. The Association of Municipalities of Ontario has chosen London as their host city for 2021 and 2023. Maybe it’s time you considered bringing your event to the city too.
