Census 2020: Make it Count!
The census is a survey conducted by the U.S. Census Bureau every 10 years. Not only is the census required by the Constitution, but it’s critically important to communities because census data determines how funds are distributed to states, counties and communities.

You can complete the census at home, over the phone or you can come to the library! Both Joliet Public Library locations will have computers available with limited staff assistance to complete the census online. In addition, census workers will be available at specific days and times to provide more personalized help in completing the questionnaire.
We are thrilled to be launching a locally authored print collection at each branch, kick-started by the generous contributions of many writers in the WriteOn! Group. Local authors are defined as residing in, or hailing from, Joliet and its immediate adjoining communities. Check it out at either library location!
Reward yourself with My Library Rewards! Earn points towards discounts and coupons at different businesses and restaurants in our community when you check out items at the library!
Check out Fold3, our newest e-resource, which provides convenient access to military records, including the stories, photos and personal documents of the men and women who served.
The Library will be closed on Monday, February 17 for Presidents' Day
