UNH STEM-MoBILE (STEM Mobile Biofabrication Integrated Lab Experience) is a traveling lab that introduces the cutting-edge field of biofabrication to communities across New Hampshire. The STEM-MoBILE team will provide a short tour of the STEM-MoBILE, a hands-on activity/experiment, and time for the participants to explore the STEM-MoBILE itself and interact with the lab equipment onboard. James Foley: A Man of Moral Courage

September 4 was the 10th anniversary of the founding of the James W. Foley Legacy Foundation, named in memory of American journalist, Jim Foley, who was kidnapped, held hostage for nearly two years and murdered in 2014. The Foundation will host a community discussion focusing on Jim’s life and work. In advance of this meeting, you are encouraged to learn more by viewing the HBO documentary Jim: the James Foley Story, available on most streaming platforms, and in the 2024 book, American Mother by Column McCann and Diane Foley. The documentary and the book are also available for checkout from the Library.

- In this 4-part series, instructor Mindy Brown will teach you to:
- Use the National Mah Jongg League Rules
- Identify the tiles
- Set up a game and deal
- Practice play
- Look at various apps to help your game
- Review Mah Jongg terms and rules
- Learn defensive play and winning strategies
Advanced registration is required. Register online just once for all four classes. Classes are free, however, all registrants will need to bring a copy of the NMJL 2024 card.
