What's Happening in Augusta

happy_thanksgiving_card.jpg

Happy Thanksgiving week! I am so excited to be with family and friends and eat WAY too much! And since Thanksgiving is here - that means the Small Business Saturday Cookie Crawl is here too!

Tickets will be on sale at our Retailers (cash or check only) Through Monday 11/21 Only! Ticket sales online will close Tuesday 11/22 at www.goaugusta.org.

Please help us make this a great event! Your local downtown small businesses work hard and participate in everything we do and sponsor events and sports to help our community flourish! Small business Saturday is THEIR day! A day to shop small and give back to those businesses who give so much throughout the year.

AND You have the opportunity to help Augusta Children in need have a special Christmas! ALL proceeds from the Cookie Crawl ticket sales will go to purchase Christmas gifts for LOCAL Augusta kiddos!

Tickets WILL be available to purchase the day of the event - while supplies last. Remember - only 150 tickets are available - so make sure you don't miss out and get your tickets in advance!

Don't forget! The Lighted Christmas Parade with Santa AND his Reindeer will happen on Tuesday, November 29th at 6:00pm. Come early and enjoy cookies and Cocoa at the Augusta Arts Center and after the parade - bring the kiddo's to the Augusta Historical Museum to visit with Santa and see his REAL reindeer! Cookies and Cocoa provided by the Augusta Lions Club will be available after your visit and pictures with Santa!

Each weekly updated is sponsored by our wonderful members! Our members are VERY important to us! We can't do what we do without them!
