If you have not taken a few minutes to walk through the gallery in the municipal building, you are missing works from numerous Caswell artists including Yancey Smith, Russel Watlington, Maud Gatewood and others. PCC Students Land Jobs at Chamber Member Business - Sista's Touch Salon

On a Sunday afternoon, I made an appointment with Sista’s Touch Salon owner, Pennie Allen, to meet with two of Pennie’s newest team members, Anisha Hollway and Jazmere Mims. The purpose of the meeting was to visit with these two new graduates from Piedmont Community College having recently completed their cosmetology program certificates to interview for this short article. It was a great way to spend some time on a Sunday afternoon as these two young professionals left me with a very positive outlook on the youth in our community. These young ladies, no strangers to already working hard, are at the present gainfully employed at other businesses in the area and are also pursuing a new career direction too. Read more here
