From Around ISU

ISU Export Control Policy

Export controls are laws and regulations that restrict the release of certain materials, information, and services to foreign persons abroad and within the United States. The U.S. imposes export controls to protect national security interests and to promote foreign policy objectives. ISU recognizes the importance of complying with all U.S. export control regulations and is committed to full compliance with these regulations.

University activities involving foreign entities (persons, organizations, or countries) may be regulated by export controls. Detailed ISU export control information may be found in the ISU Export Controls Policy (ISUPP 7040) and the ISU Export Control Manual.

Idaho State University Mourns the Loss of Stephanie D. Richardson

Stephanie D. Richardson, a long-time employee of the Office of Equal Opportunity and Title IX, passed away over the holiday break. Stephanie was a kind and caring person who you could always count on for support or a listening ear. An animal lover, she is survived by a bunch of cats that would find their way to her care, as well as her two very naughty dogs, Welly (Sir Wellington of Cambridge) and Gunny. Her quick wit, her bigger-than-life personality, and her kind, gentle spirit will be missed.

A memorial service for Stephanie will be held in the future.
