Recent grad and Outstanding Student Achievement Award winner, Jaden Palmer, presented his research at the Third Annual Digital Engineering Conference hosted by Idaho National Laboratory.


His project, “Enhancing Digital Twin Accuracy for Nuclear Reactors Using Physics-Informed Synthetic Data and Rolling Statistics,” was conducted during his internship at INL.

President Wagner recently visited Geosciences' Field Camp at the Lost River Field Station near Mackay.

Employee Headshots Available June 23


The University provides free headshots for all faculty and staff. Headshots will be taken in ISU’s Photo Studio on the bottom floor of the Administration Building on Monday, June 23, from 9 a.m. to noon. You do not need to make a reservation, just come to the studio and you will receive your photo via email.

Dean's Excellence Fund Accepting Requests from Students


The College of Science and Engineering Dean's Excellence Fund is intended to support students in their journey through ISU. The Dean's Office is particularly interested in providing financial assistance to students who might not be able to enroll in or complete the semester because of short-term financial hardships. Students seeking such support should be in good academic standing.


If you know of a student who is in need of short-term support, please have them complete this form.

Idaho State University's Concerts on the Quad Continue Through July


Idaho State University’s tradition of free summer concerts continue June 26 and on Thursday evenings throughout the summer, with live music on the Quad, and food available for purchase. 


Concerts begin at 6 p.m. on the Quad, and all are welcome to bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy a casual evening.

You are always welcome to create a draft story, submit it via the Story Submission Form, or send it to Logan. The Office of Marketing and Communications and Logan will coordinate to get the story finalized and distributed to the media outlets/platforms that best tell the story.
