Senator McGuire's Humboldt Holiday Food Drive Showdown
The Crusaders collected nearly 13,000 pounds of food for the less fortunate this holiday season. Danco and Murphy’s Markets helped St. Bernard's quadruple the old record and win the Golden Can for the second year in a row. A big thank you to Senator Mike McGuire for putting on the high school competition and bringing area schools together for a great cause. Go Crusaders!
Athletic's Update

Winter sports season is here. Our Crusader basketball players have already had a busy season. Senior, Jasa Siesmore, was named athlete of the week last week. She wasn't alone, while the whole Lady Crusaders basketball team was also named team of the week! Our boys have also had a successful start. Our JV boys won the Arcata Basketball Tournament, beating Arcata in the championship game 56-48. Varsity boys placed second in the Cloverdale tournament. Junior, Lane Thrap, dropped 30 points in the semifinal game. We can't forget about Crusader wrestling! Lucindo Gable placed second place at NorCal Finals!! Don't miss the chance to watch these Crusader athletes!
Book Donation

Humboldt County Republican Women Federated, represented by alumni mom, Mary Scott, donated books about America History to our school library earlier this month. The books were chosen by Madalenne Smith, volunteer librarian, and came from the Mamie Eisenhower Reading List.

We appreciate Republican Women for keeping SBA in mind.
