Two Opening Celebrations at June First Friday | |
Help us welcome new faces to Downtown Camas! Two Ribbon Cuttings for fresh businesses will take place during June First Friday the 7th โ don't miss the chance to show your support!
The 5pm Ribbon Cutting at RedDoor Gallery, 411 NE Dallas St, will be the culmination of the work of artists/owners Liz Pike, Tamra Sheline, and Heidi Curley. The space is home to a retail art gallery representing 10 local artists, all of whom will be present for the event, as well as art classes, and artist studio space. Enjoy a wonderful reception with refreshments and live music.
And then at 5:30pm, attendees can celebrate the Ribbon Cutting and Grand Opening of the new Compass Professional Suites and the Bluestream Counseling Group, located at 327 NE 5th Ave, Suite B. Owners Brian and Sarah Lambert are looking forward to introducing their new wellness collective to Downtown Camas. BlueStream Counseling has a staff ready to serve patients of all ages and Compass Professional Suites offers furnished spaces for professionals to see clients or conduct business.

Juxtaposition Summer Art Series | |
Juxtaposition is featuring a new event at the store called Summer Art Series. Local Artists will be featured and will showcase their work at the store this Summer! Each artist will be featured during a First Friday evening open reception and will have an opportunity to take part in an extended showing and the series finale "Paint Off" in September!

Farm to Table Tour & Cooking Class | |
Calling all foodies! Juxtaposition will feature several farm to table tours and cooking classes this summer on the 3rd Wednesday of each month, June through September!
Join Chef Earl with the McClaskey Culinary Institute at Clark College for a fun-filled afternoon and a summer culinary experience! The tour includes a Guided Camas Farmerโs Market Tour and a Cooking Class at Juxtaposition using farm-fresh ingredients and Navidi's Olive Oils and Vinegars. Don't miss out on this unique experience! Camas Pride - Live Your Best Life Block Party | |
LiveWell Camas, Lily Boutique, and Bookish Books are excited to host the Camas PRIDE "Live Your Best Life" Block Party on June 23, 11am-4pm! This inclusive event promises a day of joy, community, and acceptance for individuals and families of all backgrounds.
The celebration kicks off with a vibrant queer yoga class, setting a tone of wellness and unity. The block party will feature diverse activities for all ages, including:
- Resource, Food, and Retail Vendors: Offering a variety of goods and services from local businesses.
- Dog and Human Fashion Show: Showcasing pets and their owners in fabulous ensembles.
- Open Mic Event: Providing a platform for community voices to be heard.
- Clothing Swap: Promoting sustainability through garment and accessory exchanges.

Two Rivers Heritage Museum (TRHM) and Clark County Historical
Museum (CCHM) partnered to create an historical outdoor timeline exhibit that represents Camas and Washougal history and highlights the artifacts cared for at TRHM.
โPieces of History: An Artifacts Timeline,โ is filled with stories and images recounting monumental moments and everyday events in these neighboring communities.
