Spring Clean Up & Planting Day Success! | |
Downtown Camas was the place to be for the epic cleanup and planting day! The weather was on point, yet the real shining stars were the dedicated volunteers who rolled up their sleeves to beautify the town by weeding, planting flowers, battling ivy, and spreading bark dust like pros.
The town is now looking like a million bucks thanks to these hardworking souls! A big round of applause to everyone who pitched in, the mentors who brought along the awesome student and youth groups, Journey for keeping the team well-fed with delicious grub, the City for supplying that fresh bark dust, and to all the fantastic individuals who show endless love for our town and support local businesses. This is the true essence of community spirit, and boy, does it look good on Downtown Camas and the "before and after" shots are amazing!

Meet Jennifer Senescu, Liaison

|
I’m a lifelong City of Camas resident. I grew up here and graduated from Camas High School. I love this community, so I made my permanent home here. After graduating from Washington State University—Pullman with a bachelor’s degree in political science, I returned to Camas. I met my husband, Jim Senescu, and we’ve been married for 22 years. We’re raising our family here because we love being part of this community. Our son, Connor, is a graduate of Camas High School.
Jennifer serves as Executive Director of the Camas-Washougal Chamber of Commerce. It’s an honor to serve the businesses in our community and advocate on their behalf.
