Greetings NSHRM Members and Friends,
I’d like to start by saying thank you to our sponsor Gallagher and to David F Katz from Adams and Reese, LLP for the presentation on Cyber Security at our May meeting. I hope all attendees found the content beneficial and plan to develop and implement plans to safeguard your organization against potential cyber security threats.
Normally this is the time of year where we are getting ready for the National SHRM conference however as many of you are aware, this year’s conference has been pushed to September. In the meantime we have an informative professional development meeting for June 10th at the Pontchartrain Yacht club. This month’s breakfast meeting will focus on Population Health. We do hope to see many of you there for our in-person meeting.
Finally please scroll down the newsletter to review information regarding other events NSHRM is working on this year including our annual forum. Our planning committee has been meeting regularly and working hard to prepare for an amazing annual event at the Greystone in Mandeville. Be sure to mark your calendar now for September 30th.
As always, please do not hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions. You can reach me at firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you for continuing to support the HR profession on the Northshore.
Yours in Service,
Cecilia “CeCe” Boudreaux, SHRM-CP PHR
