Your News from Lancaster City Schools...
A Message From Superintendent Hale
Hello Gale Nation!

As the 2021-2022 school year and my first year as your superintendent comes to an end, I want to let you all know how incredibly proud I am of Lancaster City Schools! Thank you to our board of education, staff, students, and families who made this school year so impactful!

This year we outlined our Portrait of a Graduate, which emphasizes educating and preparing our students with the knowledge, attitude, and skills needed to accomplish a lasting career long after graduation. I believe it is safe to say that our students have done an incredible job at recognizing and implementing those practices into their day-to-day lives.

To our graduating seniors, it has been an absolute honor to be your superintendent. I cannot wait to see all the amazing things you accomplish. To our students returning in the fall, enjoy your well-deserved summer break. I am looking forward to seeing all your smiling faces in August! And, finally, to the Lancaster City Schools' faculty and staff, you are the backbone of this district. The work you do each day is inspiring, and I am honored to work alongside you!

Thank you, and I wish you all a safe and restful summer!

Nathan Hale
Superintendent
