Your News from Lancaster City Schools...

Pride in Our Community

At Lancaster City Schools, we take great pride in participating and giving back to our community. A caring attitude, which includes pride in our community, is one of our Portrait of a Graduate Pillars. Our students and staff have fully embraced this trait over the past few weeks. Our students have participated in several community projects including the United Way Community Care Day, Ghoulish Gales Trick or Treat, and the TE Builders’ Club! Check out the photos below to see our students giving back!

Recently, our LHS clubs and sports teams ran the Ghoulish Gales Trick or Treat event! Our students did a fantastic job this year. You could hear the laughter and cheerfulness miles away!

In addition, Lancaster City Schools students from the Career Tech Program participated in the United Way Community Care Day. The students painted posts, picked up trash, and enjoyed delicious subs from Subway!

In October, our TE Senators had their first Builders Club service project. They worked together and built toys for Fairfield Area Humane Society!

At the East Fair Ave. baseball/softball fields, infield turf is being installed on the baseball field, and the outfield grass will be installed later in November. The parking lots have been resurfaced and new parking lines have been painted.
