On July 7, the Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners will officially proclaim July 2026 as Park and Recreation Month, recognizing the department's contributions to our community’s health, wellness, conservation, economic vitality and community connection.


The Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation Department (PBC Parks), nationally accredited through the Commission for Accreditation of Park and Recreation Agencies (CAPRA), is recognized for excellence in park and recreation management and provides organized recreational programs and services for people of all ages and abilities.
