Fishing Fun- Daggerwing Nature Center
Learn the basics of freshwater fishing Fri, Jan 8, 10:00 a.m. at Daggerwing Nature Center in Burt Aaronson South County Regional Park, west of Boca Raton. Ages 8+, $10/participant. RSVP required.
Archery- Riverbend Park
Learn about archery before getting to practice on the range Sat, Jan 9, 9:30 a.m. at Riverbend Park, Jupiter. Ages 8+, $10/participant. RSVP required.
Nature Journaling & Sketching- Green Cay Nature Center
Participants will be able to observe, experience and record nature in this unique program learning the basics of nature journaling Wed, Jan 13, 10:00 a.m. at Green Cay Nature Center and Wetlands, Boynton Beach. All ages, $3/participant. RSVP required.
Calligraphy Workshop for Adults- Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens
Learn brush strokes using sumi ink and a brush to write Japanese characters, Sat, Jan 16, 11:30 a.m. & 2:00 p.m. in the Oki Education Center at Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens, Delray Beach. $35/per session. RSVP required.
ONC Behind the Scenes- Okeeheelee Nature Center
Take a behind the scenes tour to see where the outdoor animals live at Okeeheelee Nature Center Tues, Jan 26, 3:30 p.m. in Okeeheelee Park, west of West Palm Beach. All ages, $3/participant. RSVP required.
