WHAT'S HAPPENING IN STERLING RANCH

UCHEALTH SPEAKER

UCHealth Sterling Ranch Medical Center is the only health care facility in Sterling Ranch. As a partner of the community, they have joined us to provide

speakers to discuss various topics. This month's topic is Neurology, Concussion, and Athletics.

Join Dr. Brandon Pope as he addresses the following:

  1. Define what a stroke is.
  2. Describe functional areas of the brain.
  3. Describe the signs and symptoms of a stroke.
  4. Know what the biggest risk factors for stroke are and what you can do to reduce them.
  5. Know what the current therapies are for someone who has had a stroke.
  6. Know what the signs and symptoms of concussion are.
  7. Know what you should do if you think you or someone you care for has a concussion.
  8. Know what the long-term effects of concussion are.

Light snacks and drinks will be provided. We hope to see you there!

STERLING RANCH WOMEN'S BIBLE STUDY

This group of multi-generational women meets weekly to grow in our faith and develop relationships within our community. We will be learning from a study called "What the Women Saw," where we will discover who Jesus is through the unique perspective of women in the Bible. We will meet on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM at rotating houses in the neighborhood from September 28 - November 16. For more information, please email Lauren Todd at [email protected]

The food trucks will be onsite
Monday - Friday 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM and Saturday - Sunday 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM

*We ask all residents to be respectful of their neighbors and not park in or in front of someone's driveway when getting food from a food truck.
