Thalheimer Israel Scholarship Recipient: Leia Oritz
Leia Oritz received a Thalheimer Israel Scholarship and spent her 10th grade year in Israel. She had many adventures and plans to return for her 11th grade year after spending the summer here in Arknasas! Click here to read Leia's letter on her first year in Israel.

Adam Schwartz started Heritage Judaica in Minneapolis. Older Jews who would like their Judaica passed to the next generation give their pieces to Heritage Judaica who helps pair them with Jewish individuals or families.
Last weekend was Tisha B'Av. It is a day of mourning for the Jewish people.
