LRBRA & Auction History

This is the tenth year of LRBRA helping to set up the auction set. The history goes something like this. It was partially designed by Jared Guillemet AIA then a high school student along with member Steve Custance from Custance Brothers Woodworking who stepped in along with his crew and other LRBRA members and designed & built the set. The set is approximately 60' wide by 35' in depth u-shaped. It has been modified 4 additional times to fit the venue it was used at. Every year, the homebuilders have setup and taken the set down to be safely stored for the next year. (Come Help With Set Breakdown this Saturday, Dec. 10th at 9am) All are welcome to help!

As a side note, the Children's Charity house that was build 9 years ago by LRBRA members was sold and 100% of the proceeds were donated to the auction in the amount of $90,129.11! WOW!

LRBRA DONATES OVER $7,500 IN SCHOLARSHIPS, TOOLS, AND OTHER INDUSTRY ADVOCACY GROUPS.

This past spring, eight students received tool box awards and went on a shopping spree at Middleton Lumber, Meredith to purchased quality tools worth up to $500/each! Mike Schofield, plumbing instructor said “Never saw so many smiling students,” after helping them with their purchases.
