Pastor Jeff is showing the movie Luther each Sunday through June 30.  This is an excellent film, and each segment will be followed up with discussion.

Please note: This Sunday there will be two opportunities to see the first one fourth of the film, at 8:30 am and again at 11:00 am.

On July 7, 14, 21, and 28, Pastor Dennis will do a four-week series on the life of Abraham Facing the Unknown.

During the summer months our choirs are on break, so, it's the perfect time to bring forth special talents of the congregation. If you play an instrument or sing, please consider offering your music up as special music during our Sunday worship. See Deanna for more information.

2ND SUNDAY SOCIAL

Join us this Sunday at the home of John and Marcia Fears. This is a time of fellowship for all members and friends of SOTH. You don’t need to sign up, just bring an appetizer or dessert to share. Beverages will be provided by the host.
COME OUT OF THE HEAT AND INTO THE LIGHT
Wednesdays, through June 19
All are invited to join us for fellowship and a 5-week Bible study on 1 John, the book on Love and God. First John provides guidance in getting these two things straight in our life. On Wednesday evenings through June 19, bring your favorite Bible or use one we have. We meet in the fellowship hall at 5:30 pm for those who would like participate in a salad potluck dinner. Sign up to bring a salad topping to share. Lettuce, spinach, dressings and drinks will be provided. Bible Study and discussion is from 6:00-7:30 pm. FOOD DRIVE
EXTENDED HANDS FOOD BANK
Extended Hands Food Bank in Fountain Hills supports over 1,000 men, women and children in our town. They are in need of items such as soups, peanut butter, jelly, vegetables, spaghetti, tuna, main dish meals, etc. We need your help...please bring your items on Sunday to the Narthex or during the week to the church office.

WinGS Game Day

Come play Dominoes on June 11 from 10am-noon in the Education Building Rooms 5 & 6. Bring your domino set and join the fun.  Next month on July 9 from 10am-noon we will have fun playing Attack Uno.

PRAYER CARDS are available in the pew backs. You may place your prayer requests in the prayer boxes located on the Usher's table, in the Narthex, and outside in the prayer box on the circle drive.
SUMMER CAMP FOR KIDS
July 14 - July 19
Incoming 3rd - 9th Grade
Shepherd of the Hills is offering Summer Camp for Kids at Camp Aloma in Prescott, Arizona this summer.

Camp activities include sports, archery, crafts, Bible encounters, great food, campouts and night activities. Plus, the older kids go canoeing.  

There is roundtrip bus transportation which picks up/drops off in North Phoenix, or you may drop and pick up your campers as well. For more information or to register email Julia@sothaz.com.

Each morning you will receive an email which includes an opening prayer, daily Bible reading, closing prayer and digging deeper section, all accompanied by beautiful pictures and artwork what tie the reading together in a very meaningful way. RECYCLING
Bring your newspaper, cardboard, and soft cover books for recycling. Tell your family and friends. The bins are located in the lower parking area off of Fountain Hills Blvd.
