Check out our new video series "What's In Your Backyard" that highlights the many interesting people who work here in Chester County! We’ve interviewed business owners, entrepreneurs, employees, and volunteers to find out what personal experiences, personality traits, interests, unique abilities, training, and education have led them into their current careers.
These 17 videos + a bloopers reel were created to specifically target Chester County students. We want our talented young people to know they can have successful and exciting life-long careers right here at home in Chester County.

The Chamber was proud to host our first Women's Leadership Workshop on the beautiful campus of York Technical College's Chester Center. Dr. Robyn Agnew, a certified life coach, led the interactive seminar for the fifteen women. Dr. Agnew encouraged participants to evaluate their lives professionally and personally and look for ways to "live authentically" by setting goals that match each individual's values and personal priorities. A special thank you to these leaders and their companies for supporting this event: LaTanya Williams and Anna Pierce, Battered But Not Broken; Mellanie Jinnette and Dena Dunlap, Chester County School District; Becky Moon, Chester Metropolitan District; Autumn Castles, TruVista Communications; Albertha Woodard, Chester Regional Medical Center; Lisa Hall, Ring Container Technologies; Gina Jordan, Horizons Christian Academy; Devon Beatty, Chester Wastewater Recovery; Laurel Sharp, Chester County Library; Lindy Blanks, Adult Education; Valencia Bolden, Boise Cascade; Ann Elliott, Junior Achievement; Sonia Young, York Technical College. Thank you also to Stacy Scott and his staff at the Chester Center for hosting the workshop in such a nice space!
Congratulations to our partner member Founders Federal Credit Union and their President & CEO Bruce Brumfield for being awarded the prestigious Colonel Elliott Springs Legacy Award during the Springs Close Foundation's "Fabric of the Community" luncheon. This service award recognizes "extraordinary leadership in service in a way that leverages the commitment and resources of others and delivers an impact that is exponentially larger than on person or organization could deliver on its own." We appreciate the hard work of Founders and are proud to have them as our title sponsor for the 2017 Chamber Classic Golf Tournament. Thank you Founders Federal Credit Union! Congratulations also to our Chester County "Fabric of the Community" winner Brown's Corner, and finalists GRASP and Loaves & Fishes Community Soup Kitchen. These not-for-profit organizations better our county and are much appreciated for their dedication to the communities they serve.
