2021 Chautauqua Season Passes go on Sale today!
The 2021 Lakeside Chautauqua season passes are available for sale starting today, March 1. Prices remain at a reduced level similar to last season. For detailed information and to purchase passes online, visit our website here. Passes may also be purchased at the Hoover Auditorium Ticket Office during select hours beginning in April. We can't wait to see you!

Gift Card Discount
Did you know that each season pass holder can purchase up to three discounted Lakeside gift cards? Pay $170 and get a bonus $30! Gift cards may be redeemed for tickets or auto passes. Season pass holders can purchase the discounted gift cards at the Lakeside Administration Office, Hoover Auditorium Ticket Office or by calling 419.798.4461, ext. 346. Non-discounted gift cards may be purchased by anyone year-round.

After months of planning, numerous challenges, and a lot of coffee and late nights, our cottage rentals team is excited to announce that we can now take phone reservations! And our online database is only days away from being finalized at which point online booking will also be available. We are so grateful for the patience and understanding granted us by both homeowners and renters alike as we have transitioned to our new software. It proves once again that Lakesiders are truly special people!

Here is what to expect:

  • March 1: Make a cottage rental reservation by calling 419.798.4461, ext. 348. Please note you can view cottage options here until our new site is launched.

  • Week of March 15: Online booking will be live! Be sure to watch our Facebook page and website for updates.

When it comes to facing rejection, second guessing big decisions and overcoming self-doubt, Lakesider and author Jessica Bettencourt shares in her new book “I Almost Cancelled-Showing Up When Fear Tells You To Stay Home,” how to overcome fear to build the life you’ve always imagined.

Growing up in Tennessee, Bettencourt always imagined her family would spend their summers in the South. She never dreamed their summer home would be three hours north from their home in Bellbrook, Ohio.

“We were invited to visit a friend who lived in Lakeside and within hours we fell in love,” said Bettencourt. “My husband and I had a moment when we just looked at each other and knew this community is exactly what we had been looking for.
