For perspective : 2019 was a very active year. In June 2019 there were 31 properties placed Under Contract For Sale and in July 2019 there were 33 properties placed Under Contract for Sale.

So last month we saw nearly 30% more sales activity than last June & July combined !

My son Daniel turned 22 years old today! Wow how time flies! Take a look at the photo at the top of this Newsletter…yes, that’s Daniel with his boogie board! I am happy to say that last year Daniel joined me in the real estate business – he is working during the summer as a Customer Service Liaison and full-time as Social Media Marketing Specialist. Daniel is entering his Senior year at the University of Tampa and then will join me “full-time” in the business. During his free time, he’s graduated from the boogie board and now rides the waves on a long board! 
Love Blue in Avalon
Love Blue has arrived......in Avalon!
What started as a group of lifeguards cleaning up the beach after their shift ended for the day; turned into an amazing nonprofit organization, perfectly named "Love Blue". The group has made its way into Avalon with this mission "Through clean-ups, people will see the impact our trash has on the environment and they will be less likely to contribute to the problem and become a part of the movement which we call Love Blue". The group has collectively removed more than 4,000 pounds of trash from local and national beach clean ups.

No Plastic Bags Allowed
Friendly Reminder from Avalon Public Works
Plastic Bags cannot be part of the recycling trash system in Cape May County. Avalon is part of the single-stream recycling system, where all recyclables go into one container. The container will not be picked up if it contains plastic bags.
Please read the rules and regulations for recycling in Avalon on the Borough's website!
American Legion Donates to
Stone Harbor & Avalon
The American Legion Post #331 in Stone Harbor recently voted to award three donations in July to local organizations for the purchase of personal protective equipment. The three recipients were Cape Regional Foundation; the Avalon EMS and Stone Harbor Volunteer Fire Company.
A quote from the Legion "Our first responders are on the front lines everyday helping our veterans. We, as the Legion, now have the ability to thank them, and help them in return."
