SUNDAY FILM: The Eternal Song
This Sunday, September 27, from 12:15 PM (live in Alluvial Ave. Sanctuary)
Facilitated by June and Bayard Taylor
This thought-provoking documentary reveals how modernity can sever our connection to nature, to one another, and to the ancestral realm—offering instead empty promises of salvation, unlimited consumption, economic growth, and individual happiness. As we are drawn into an intricate web of kinship and invited to honor the living presence of Mother Earth, a deeper remembrance begins to awaken. A sacred dance comes to life, and we begin to hear the eternal song of Life itself, calling us back to belonging.
Registration Requested.

What the Heck is Zoroastrianism?
Wednesday, October 7 and 14 (two sessions)
10:00 AM (Sanctuary) or 6:30 PM (Zoom)
Facilitated by Rev. Tim Kutzmark. Created by nomads who settled in Iran three and a half thousand years ago, it was the region's primary religion until it was vanquished by Islam. It is considered the first monotheistic religion (one God) and introduced the concepts of “good” and “evil” that still impact us today. We’ll explore Zoroastrian history and beliefs and see what spiritual wisdom it offers for our own spiritual journey. Brief, simple readings will be required (or audio of the same). Registration requested
