He has experience in construction, security guard, and janitorial work. He is an English language learner and is able to drive. When unarmed teenager Michael Brown is killed by police and left lying in the street for hours, it marks a breaking point for the residents of St. Louis, Missouri. Long-standing racial tensions and renewed anger bring residents together to protest this latest tragedy. Empowered parents, artists, teachers, and activists from around the country come together as freedom fighters. Registration requested.

UU KIDS FRESNO KIDS TALENT SHOW
UU Fresno Kids’ Talent Show is making a comeback this year, so start thinking about any special talents you’d like to share! It could be a magic show, comedy, musical acts, poetry slams, pet tricks, hula hooping, your awesome jiu jitsu moves, and so on. Your imagination is the limit! Solo and group acts welcome.
Auditions (mainly so we know what you’ll be doing and where to fit you in) will be held after church, on March 15th & 22nd. Dress rehearsal will be on Thursday, April 16th, at 4-ish pm, and the show will be on Saturday, April 18th, at 4-ish pm. So, think about your act, put it on your schedule, and get ready to share your unique abilities! Sign-up forms will be at the religious exploration booth.

The 2nd Sunday Social Justice offering on March 8th will be for Earth Day Fresno 2026. This family-friendly event will be held on the Fresno City College west lawn on Saturday, April 18th, 10am - 4pm.
Come meet eco-organizations and learn about local environmental issues. Special activities will include Fresno's first GREEN Home & Garden Show, an Anthropocene Art Show and Do-It-Yourself workshops.
