Who Cares for the Caregiver?

Topics include: finding sources for support, fostering self-care, maintaining intimacy, and finding gratitude in the role.


Seeking Presence with Prayer, Poetry, and Mindfulness Practice
 
Rabbi Karyn Kedar, Senior Rabbi of Congregation BJBE, Deerfield
Tuesday, May 26, 2:00 - 3:00 pm

This lecture is based on Rabbi Kedar's book of the same title. Spend the afternoon in learning from one of our most beloved local clergy. Explore the meaning of presence and how to attain it through poetry, prayer and mindfulness practice.

Wellness Classes & Workshops
CWC is offering variety of wellness classes virtually. Please note:
  • Registration to all classes closes at 4:00 pm the day before the class
  • Class opens for log-in 15 minutes prior to the start time
  • Class closes for log-in 5 minutes after the class starts
  • An email with log-in instructions will be sent the evening before class.
  • Registration in each class is only needed one time.  You will be permanently added to the class roster

Family Yoga

The class is designed to help melt away tension, decrease feelings of stress, as well as increase a sense of calmness and peacefulness in the family. The program is intended for kids ages 5-18 and their families.

Learn to Meditate
 
Monday, May 18, 1:00 - 3:00 pm

Join us to learn more about mindfulness and meditation, as well as, how they can promote peaceful living while living with illness. Participants will learn basic meditation skills.
