All four Chandler Public Libraries will be closed on Monday, May 28 in observance of Memorial Day. All online resources will be available on those days. T ake a look at one of our many current online magazines, available on RB Digital for FREE with your Chandler Public Library card.  Or, download an e-book from Cloud Library . They can be viewed on your computer, tablet, or mobile device!
We have a new app!!

Chandler Public Library has a new mobile app that lets users quickly tap into library resources anytime, anywhere, from their mobile device. The free app is now available for Android and Apple devices.

"By offering a mobile app, Chandler Public Library can further promote library resources and enhance customer service on any mobile device," says Library Manager Dan Lee.  "It is a convenient option for accessing, using, and enjoying all Chandler Public Library has to offer."

With this app, much of what Chandler Public Library offers will be at your fingertips, including the ability to:
            • Search for books, movies, and other materials.
            • Place and/or check the status of holds.
            • Check due dates and renew items.
            • Access our digital content, including e-books, e-audio, digital magazines, music, movies (cloudLibrary, RBdigital, Freegal, and Kanopy), and several electronic databases.
            • Stay current with the events/programs at all four library locations.
            • Reserve a study room.
            • Have an e-version of your library card.
            • See reading recommendations.
To get started, download the app by searching for "Chandler Public Library" in the Apple App Store or Google Play app store on a smart device. Once you launch the app and enter your library card number and PIN, the app will remember your account information, so you won't need to log in over and over again.

If you have questions or need assistance, please visit one of our four local library locations, or call 480-782-2800.

CPL Reads Online Book Discussion

This month we're discussing "A Wrinkle in Time" in our Facebook online discussion group. We post a few questions each week and you can comment whenever it is convenient for you. Join us!

If you want to read ahead, we've chosen " The Happiness Project " by Gretchen Rubin for our June discussion.

In July, we'll be discussing " Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine" by Gail Honeyman.

Both are great reads and our staff highly recommend them. Read them now and join in on our discussion!
Volunteer Spotlight
Our volunteers make Chandler Public Library even better! Volunteers that help adults with English instruction, teach computer classes, assist 1st graders with their reading, work in the Library's collection, assist the Friends of the Library with used book sales, provide clerical assistance, help with homework questions and job searches and so much more, help to make Chandler Public Library the best it can be! Many thanks to all of the volunteers that give their time and energy to the Library.
