We approach each new connection as a partnership, and throughout 2020, we were fortunate to create new and strengthen current relationships with many of you. "The COVID-19 reporting was widely used across our organization. We allocated our transition of care team to outreach to all patients who had COVID testing. In addition, we had several patient navigators directly calling those who tested positive. This enabled us to use our resources to support the highest risk patients."

"Help keep your office safe by screening patients before they arrive with our COVID-19 results reports. They include positive, negative, unconfirmed, and in-progress tests and can be filtered by a variety of criteria."

"Access to reliable “real time” information concerning our clients’ use of various health and emergency services has not only aided us in our continuing efforts to ensure their health and safety, it has enabled us to analyze service utilization trends and to make informed decisions concerning the allocation of scarce resources."

"As many practices are embracing telemedicine, they can still use services like Patient Lookup and Direct Mail to access the information they need and communicate easily and securely. At this time, the NYS Department of Health is allowing special provisions for informed, verbal documented consent for telehealth visits."

On December 13, 2020, the Governor issued an Executive Order which included a mandate that all clinical laboratories with more than 25 employees must contribute data to an HIE through the Statewide Health Information Network of New York (SHIN-NY). The 60-day deadline is fast approaching, and we are working closely with the NYS Department of Health to assist affected organizations in a timely manner.
