Teen Apprenticeship Opportunities

Through a generous grant provided by the DP&L Foundation, K12 Gallery & TEJAS is offering eight paid teen apprentice positions this summer. We are currently accepting applications from teens age 16-19 who would like to be considered for these positions. The apprenticeships will last from June 16 through August 8.  There are 4 different areas teens can choose to apprentice in: mural painting, office assistance, building construction and mosaic laying.

Please visit www.tejasgallery.org to find more information.

Visit us During Urban Nights, May 9

Stop by during Urban Nights, May 9 from 5:00-10:00pm.  View the new artwork on display in our galleries, check out our new studios, grab some yummy treats and pick up your own lighted mosaic lantern that will be on sale.  We will have 25 one of a kind glass lanterns for sale at $60 each, or you can purchase your own "kit" that will include all the materials needed to make your own unique lantern at home.  And remember, your purchase goes directly towards supporting our programming that impacts the community!

Donate Now!

Only 30 days left to donate to our power2give online project!  By donating $10-$1000, you can help send area youth to our summer art camps.  K12 never turns down a student due lack of funding.  But we need your help to be able to offer more scholarships! With a gift of $200, you can provide a full, one-week scholarship to a young artist from the Dayton area that wouldn't typically have the resources to attend our Summer Art Camp.

Please visit http://www.power2give.org/DaytonRegion/Project/Detail?projectId=2921 to see a great video created by our AIT teen afterschool students and to donate today!
