Spring Festivals in the Old 96 District
Spring means flowers and festivals here in the Old 96 District, and we're excited for both! Mark your calendars for Abbeville's Spring Festival, May 4-6, 2023. Food, vendors, music, rides for the kids—we're looking forward to a great start to the 2023 festival schedule!
Also coming up in May, the famous Greenwood topiaries will begin to make their appearances throughout the city! We've gotten some behind-the-scenes sneak peeks at the topiary line-up this year, and we're so excited to see them around town. You won't want to miss the Festival of Flowers main weekend, June 8-11, 2023.

The 25 Drive In Movie Theater Set to Welcome Customers for 77th Year
It may be a thing of the past in most places, but in one Upstate town, owners of an outdoor “auto theater” are about to turn on the projectors again after 77 years in the same spot.

This past autumn, I had the chance to visit the Palmetto Shooting Complex in South Carolina’s Old 96 District for the first time with a friend! It was really quite the adventure.
