Program Spotlight: Academy's FSA Testing results celebrated as students are  welcomed back
Congratulations to teachers and students for these terrific results in Florida Standard  Assessments (FSA) testing. Academy students performed well on the FSA this past school year in all areas and grade levels.  They  out-performed all alternative schools in  Pinellas County.  In 7th and 8th grade math, students also out-performed Pinellas County and the State of Florida schools as a whole (this includes traditional students as well as at risk).

Event Spotlight: The First Tee Day at the Rays
On July 31st, 213 participants and guests attended the Tampa Bay Rays vs. New York Yankees in support of The First Tee. The game raised approximately $1,500 for The First Tee golf programs, as well as awareness throughout the community about the Life Skills Experience offered every day on our campus.

A big Thank You to Board Member Elliott Ross for purchasing 30 tickets for The First Tee students and parents to attend the game!  He received heartfelt thanks for his generosity from our families.

Program Spotlight: The First Tee Summer Camp
The First Tee welcomed 264 campers eager to learn about golf for 8 weeks this summer. Camp isn't just about your full swing and putting, children also learn valuable life  lessons through The First Tee Core Values.  Thanks to grantors like the Verdoorn  Foundation, Florida Junior Golf Council, and the Salvatore Mascari family fund we offered camp at a discounted rate to all families and provided 35 scholarships for youth in need.
