Giving Corner
Through our Providing Opportunities Program (POP), Cy-Hope Assists students qualifying for the free-and-reduced lunch program or demonstrating situational financial hardship to take Dual Credit, Advanced Placement and Career and Technical Education courses. By covering these nominal fees, Cy-Hope increases the likelihood they'll go on to graduate from college and have a successful career, offering hope for a brighter future to these students and their families, and making a positive impact on our community. As a result of this program, we have helped 7,396
students so far for a total of $342,605, meeting 100% of need to date.

April 2019

Spring has officially sprung! And, here at Cy-Hope, we find our programs in full bloom. With all of our growth, we rely on donations, volunteers, grants and on our event and resale revenue to keep our programs thriving. If you have not checked out our resale market, The Hope Chest, be sure to stop by - and, better yet, bring some of your spring cleaning donations with you when you visit. You can drive through our warehouse donations dock to drop off any stuff you no longer need, and then park out front to check out our resale boutique! Living Magazine awarded our Hope Chest Best Resale for 2018 - so don't miss out on the chance to shop and donate where all proceeds go right back into our community! Click here for all the scoop on this resale gem.

Cy-Hope Happenings
Volunteer Spotlight - Charles Thomas - Hope Chest
We have so many amazing volunteers and are thankful for each and every one! However we would like to shine the spotlight this month on Charles Thomas. Charles was our FIRST Hope Chest Volunteer!  He has helped build The Hope Chest...twice!! He works tirelessly to help us in ANY area - electrical, construction, processing incoming donations, assisting customers, loading furniture - anything we need. He also leads a group sorting clothes once a month.
He volunteers most days (he does try to squeeze in a golf game on a sunny day...the dear man is retired after all).  Charles is so devoted to Cy-Hope and we are so devoted to him. Thank you so much Charles!
