A great time was had by all on the last Fall Ball of Hope event of 2020! We are looking forward to a great Spring season. Thanks to all of our wonderful volunteers who made this possible.

Cy-Hope was able to serve 80 Thanksgiving meals at our Pointe community and 140 meals at our Windfern community with so much help from all of our wonderful volunteers! Thank you to everyone who cooked, baked and served.

We are so grateful to the CB&A Foundation for donating 80 frozen turkeys to Cy-Hope! We passed them out, along with food bags, to our Willow Green Hope Center community, and used some for our Thanksgiving events in November.

Over the last several months, this Cy-Hope newsletter has highlighted our pivot to feeding more than 110,300 families in our community affected by the economic downturn due to the pandemic. It has highlighted our blood drives to help replenish vital supplies for our hospitals. And, it has shed light on the mental health issues made worse by the stress so many in our community face right now and Cy-Hope Counseling's work to provide affordable mental health care to people feeling that stress. The Wall Street Journal even caught wind of the hope at work in Cy-Fair and featured us in a recent article!
We are eight months into the pandemic, and our community needs us now more than ever. As we approach the end of 2020, we ask that you join us in helping our community believe that HOPE IS NOT CANCELLED. We want to ensure every student has hope for a brighter future and is prepared for the workforce after graduating high school or college. The cancellation of fundraisers and event rentals plus the reduction in The Hope Chest Resale Market revenues has challenged our ability to serve our community. To date we have raised $177,478 but we still need your help to reach our goal of $450,000. Between now and December 31, all donations to Cy-Hope will be matched up to $100,000 thanks to the generosity and kindness of the Hamilton Y'Barbo Family. We are truly overwhelmed by this gift and grateful for the support of our community. Your contribution will make an even bigger difference now. Join us April 30th and May 1st for our first, annual The Cypress Market @ Cy-Hope! We will have wonderful, unique artisan vendors for your shopping pleasure on the beautiful grounds of our Cy-Hope Headquarters. We'll host our ticket-only VIP event in the evening on Friday, April 30th from 6:30-9:30 (ticket information coming soon). We'll have shopping open to the public on Saturday, May 1st from 9:00-5:00, along with a crawfish boil. Email f or information on being a vendor.
