Ditesco Newsletter

While change can bring new risks, challenges, and uncertainty, it can also bring fresh eyes to a problem, inject new energy into a team, and create exciting opportunities. As specialists in project delivery and management – whether it is design development, complex construction management, or the delivery of an entire program – managing change is a fundamental part of everything we do at Ditesco. It’s an inevitable part of every project and one that we don’t shy away from but embrace. This mindset extends beyond our projects and programs, influencing our communities, clients, and the way we approach our work and lives in general.

Recently, Ditesco took the opportunity— as we do twice a year— to assess our challenges, identify needs, and recognize opportunities within our communities, markets, and across the company, both locally and nationally, allowing us to refine our existing strategies and develop new ones alongside our enterprise partners.

Our project delivery expertise is second to none and is a sought-after resource not only in Northern Colorado but well beyond local and state boundaries. Through our partnership with ESP, we’ve gained access to additional resources and national expertise, further strengthening The Ditesco Way. By focusing on growth, collaboration, and the continued development of our team, we are better positioned to deliver even greater value to both our long-term clients and those new to Ditesco.

As our communities and relationships continue to grow and expand across Northern Colorado, we recognize the strength that comes from embracing change. This allows us to broaden our impact, both within our local communities and beyond—bringing new skills and expertise to Northern Colorado and expanding our reach to neighboring and even distant regions.

Connecting the Town of Timnath with Pulse

We’re excited to deepen our partnership with the City of Loveland and help bring the Pulse fiber network to the Town of Timnath. Our team will play a crucial role in supporting this network build-out, providing outside plant resident engineering and construction management services. Our responsibilities will include everything from document and process management, contract administration, and quality control, to project management and engineering support for new developments, including fiber design. We’re proud to help expand access to this essential service, empowering our community with the tools they need for a brighter, more connected future.

Oak Street Stormwater Project We’re proud to partner with the City of Fort Collins to preserve Downtown Fort Collins by upgrading the stormwater infrastructure along Oak Street, enhancing flood protection for the community.

As the City’s Owner’s Representative during construction, we’re overseeing the installation of new stormwater piping, ranging from 78" to 36" in diameter.

The project team has made impressive progress, starting with the successful completion of the downtown tunnel, which involved tunneling nearly 500 feet at a depth of 25 feet. Installation of the Meldrum Lateral is now underway. Excavation is complete, and the team has begun the 36" RCP open-cut installation for the lateral on S. Meldrum, extending from W. Mountain Ave. to Oak St.

43rd St. 3.5 MG Water Storage Tank

The City of Loveland is boosting its potable water storage capacity with the addition of a 3.5 million-gallon water storage tank. Ditesco is providing resident engineering and inspection services to ensure a successful project delivery.

Construction kicked off in May, and the new tank is quickly taking shape! The team completed the underground piping to the meter house and the base slab placement, and has now started placing concrete for the walls and columns, with post-tensioning of the walls to follow. The post-tensioning work is critical to the tank’s long-term structural integrity, ensuring the facility will meet both current and future water storage needs for the growing Loveland community.

Acute Care Facility Receives National & Local Acclaim!

We're excited to announce Larimer County's Acute Care Facility has received two prestigious project achievement awards – one from the Construction Management Association of America and one from the American Public Works, Colorado Chapter! A big congratulations to our project team for their dedication and hard work in bringing this state-of-the-art facility to life. We’re incredibly proud to have played a key role in delivering this facility to our community.

Nothing better than a summer afternoon spent with our team and their families. Our annual Summer BBQ is the perfect opportunity for everyone to unwind, enjoy good food, and strengthen the bonds that make our team and company thrive.

Bhava Foundation Benefit Golf Tournament

Each year, we proudly team up with the Bhava Foundation, a local non-profit dedicated to supporting community members facing health challenges. This time, we sent a foursome to their annual Benefit Golf Tournament at the stunning Mariana Butte Golf Course in Loveland, where we had a blast swinging clubs for a great cause!

2024 Rocky Mountain Water Conference (RMWEA)

Our team took a roadtrip to Keystone, CO, for the annual Rocky Mountain Water Conference. Program Manager Bill Renz and Project Engineers Mike D.C. Perez and Dustan Whipple jumped into technical presentations, networked with industry professionals, and – most importantly – enjoyed some great team-building along the way!

Nestled in the NICU Black, White, & Bling Gala

We had an unforgettable night at the annual Black, White, & Bling Gala, proudly supporting Nestled in the NICU’s mission to assist families with babies in neonatal intensive care units across Colorado. As Silver sponsors, Senior Project Manager Nathaniel Johnson and Project Manager Dan Egger joined the celebration for an evening filled with community, compassion, and giving back.
