Improvements for the 380 Corridor

Progress is moving swiftly at our Temple Dane pump station, just east of Cross Oak Ranch on FM 720. Following last month's electrical improvements, valves, and housekeeping pads, the first of the new pumps has been set and connected to electrical power. After testing, the first phase of equipment will be brought online, along with a repaired ground storage tank at the same facility.

There's still work to be done, and contractors continue preparing the subgrade for the access drives and the surrounding the well site while progress is made on the drains, plumbing, and electrical to

serve the chemical building.

Even more exciting improvements are coming to this pump station that serves the highway 380 corridor and surrounding areas. Stay tuned!

These massive pumps inside our Temple Dane pump station will increase water delivery for a significant portion of the Mustang service area.

Storage Expansion at Silverado

Additional water storage is coming soon to the area around the Silverado developmentin Aubrey. The circular foundation of the 750k gallon ground storage tank recently passed initial concreate testing. Next up, more testing and construction of the actual tank with its heavy steel panels.

Advanced Water Purification

Water is flowing at Mustang's advanced water purification pilot plant. It landed in December and, after setup and system check, Mustang staff performed factory acceptance testing and received training on the plant's operation.

Michael Kivlan, Director of Operations, and Mikey Treviño, SCADA Specialist, recently got acquainted with the new facility.

Partners from Intuitech and Steger Bizzell Engineering put the system through its paces.

1.5M Gallons of Storage in Gunter

Contractors continue work on the new 1.5M gallon elevated storage tank in Gunter off Kerfoot Drive. The contractor has completed construction of the curtain for the exterior of the tank in preparation for paint and is currently coating the inside of the bowl and column.

Elevated water tanks are used because they take advantage of gravity to create and maintain water pressure in the distribution system. By storing water at height, the potential energy of the water is converted into pressure, which ensures a steady flow to homes and businesses without the need for constant pumping. This design also provides reliable supply during peak demand or power outages. Weather permitting, the massive tower should be complete in early 2026.

Water Reclamation Catches up

at Cottonwood

If you live near the intersection of FM 902 and Farmington Road, you've probably noticed big things happening outside the Cottonwood development. Construction of the 1.5 million gallon elevated storage tank has been underway for a while, and the water reclamation facility nearby is quickly catching up. Contractors have poured concrete for the water reclamation basin and are performing leak testing.

Construction of the water reclamation facility is well underway.
