Every Story Counts (Jan 25–31): share your library story

to show our impact and shape services.

The initiative aims to show the value and impact of libraries by documenting real-world use. Collecting these stories helps illustrate the broad range of activities happening, supports advocacy, and informs decision-making about services and funding.

Calling all Creative Kids and Teens!

From January 17 to February 27, 2026, aspiring artists in grades K-12 can submit an original bookmark design inspired by reading, books, libraries, or your own imagination.

Cat in the Hat Paint Event

Tuesday, February 17 from 11:15 am – 12:00 pm

Encourage your inner artist at this step-by-step painting lesson and leave with a masterpiece of your own.

Every first Saturday of the month, (next oppertunity, FEBRUARY 7th), all Friends of the Library Book stores items are $5.00 per bag. Ask for a bag at the front desk.
