CLIENT UPDATES & PARTNERSHIPS

Visit Salt Lake City joined as the newest Official Gateway City partner to the Great American West region of Idaho, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wyoming. Bloomington-Minneapolis-St. Paul and Visit Denver round out the region's Gateways, and we're so excited for SLC to join the group!

RMI will be working with Explore Minnesota in FY24 to promote the Land of 10,000 Lakes to an international audience in the UK, Germany, Benelux, France and Nordic countries. We are excited to continue our partnership with Minnesota and can't wait to grow visitation to this beautiful state through consumer outreach and promotion.

CLIENT SPOTLIGHT!

It's Time to Fly Cheyenne!

The Cheyenne Regional Airport joined RMI's client roster in May, and we have been keeping busy helping their marketing efforts in several key areas:

  • Social Media: RMI has been planning, coordinating and posting on Fly Cheyenne's social media channels to inform the public of the airport runway reconstruction timeline and updates. Check them out on Facebook and Instagram.
  • New Logo: RMI worked with Cheyenne artist Chad Blakely to create a new logo for the Cheyenne Regional Airport that grasps the look of the Wyoming Steamboat with an aviation-inspired flair.
  • Billboards: As you drive from Colorado into Cheyenne or Cheyenne heading toward Fort Collins, Colorado, via I-25, make sure to look up at the billboards; you might just find that “It’s Time to Fly Cheyenne” for your next trip.
  • Advertising: RMI is coordinating and running Fly Cheyenne’s ad campaigns with Cowboy State Daily, KFBC Radio and TownSquare Media to promote the airport’s reopening. The airport is also running full-page advertising in the Wyoming Business Report to showcase the economic impact an airport has on a community.

REPORTING / DATA

August means end-of-year reporting, and boy have we been working on report after report. RMI has spent the summer collating important international travel trade research, the RMI TRIP Report, for dozens of clients. These reports track product growth, measure business-to-business marketing success and identify return on investment from key international inbound markets.

Clients investing in the RMI TRIP Report include: Colorado Tourism Office; Explore Minnesota; The Great American West (including Idaho Tourism, Montana Office of Tourism, North Dakota Department of Tourism, South Dakota Department of Tourism, Wyoming Office of Tourism, Gateway City and Destination Partners); and Visit Denver.

Top inbound markets audited include the United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, France, Italy, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Australia, New Zealand, Mexico (and counting!).
