THF prepares to celebrate its 25th Anniversary
at the 2018 Diversity Awards Dinner!



We are delighted to announce plans for a special event, our 25th Anniversary Diversity Awards Dinner on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at New York's Cipriani Wall Street.

Become a mentor to a THF intern

We would like to invite you to register for the 2018 THF Mentor Program, an invaluable part of an intern's experience. THF mentors advise and coach their mentee during their internship period. Check-in meetings are recommended every two weeks via phone, video-conference, or in person.

Mentors must have at least two years of full-time, post-undergraduate work experience. Previous work experience in the media and entertainment industry is preferred but not required.

5th Annual HR Diversity Roundtable -
The event, now a staple of Diversity Week, was hosted by Comcast | NBCUniversal. Twenty leading industry companies gathered this year, with discussions focused on strategic recruitment, employee engagement, technology, and other top trends driving success. Comcast | NBCUniversal, thank you!

THF alumni were invited to Publicis Media's Multicultural Pipeline event in New York City during AdWeek. They learned more about the media, marketing, and advertising industries, attended workshops, and networked with other students and industry professionals.

hosted two THF summer interns and hired three THF alumni for their 2018 Media Training and Ad Fellows programs.

THF alumni were given VIP access to a recent live studio taping at Harry Connick Jr.'s exciting new TV show Harry in New York City! Not only did they get to hang out with Harry and his crew, but Harry's special guest was Oprah Winfrey. Click here to see THF alumni on set.

Digital Diversity Network

Doors continued to open for THF members this fall! They had a chance to network with and celebrate diverse digital and tech professionals making waves in the tech industry at the Digital Diversity Network's 5th Annual NYC Summit & 2nd Annual Innovation & Inclusion Awards on September 19.  
M.E.N. Program actively engages interns and alumni

On September 26, the Foundation partnered with Turner to host the third annual THF M.E.N. ( Mentor, Engage & Network) event, this year at the offices of Bleacher Report in New York.

The event was held as part of Diversity Week, and served to aid in the recruitment of new prospective interns. Participants in the event included Turner and Bleacher Report staff, internship program alumni and new recruits.
