Williams Selyem, Pinot Noir Westside Road Neighbors

Williams Selyem Winery began as a simple dream of two friends, Ed Selyem and Burt Williams, who started weekend winemaking as a hobby in 1979 in a garage in Forestville, California. Together, they set a new standard for Pinot Noir winemaking in the United States, raising Sonoma County’s Russian River Valley to among the best winegrowing regions in the world. Here’s a brief history of Williams Selyem’s rise in the sometimes heartbreakingly cruel world of Pinot Noir.

Adobe Road, Blue Dog

Blue Dog Cabernet Sauvignon is a celebration of Cabernet from two of the best growing regions in the world: Napa Valley and Sonoma County. Napa always brings a polished texture and dark fruit flavors. Sonoma offers exotic spices and silky tannins. The blend of both is captivating and perfectly balanced! The 2019 vintage was a bit warmer than previous years. Those extra sunny days perfectly ripened this fantastic Cabernet Sauvignon. As always, the quality work of our amazing vineyard partners set the stage for incredible wines to be made!

South American Winery Trip

A South American winery trip during Michigan winter? We like the sound of that! The Marty family provided wonderful hospitality by showcasing their entire Viña Marty lineup, delicious meals, and in-depth education. The Marty family opened up their production facilities and home to Woodberry Wine.

"Great day with renowned winemaker Pascal Marty, touring his impressive production facilities and tasting through the entire line-up of Vina Marty wines" - CEO, Dan Glisky

Annual Chili Cook-Off & #NationalChiliDay

Our annual Woodberry Wine Chili Cook-off was just in time for #NationalChiliDay!

Warehouse Leader, Dustin C. was crowned our Chili Cook-off Champ! His secret ingredient was antelope sausage and burger from Wyoming.

We anonymously ranked 7 homemade chilis prepared by the Woodberry Wine office and warehouse staff.

Woodberry Wine Q1 Price Book

Each quarter we present a brand new Price Book, both a hard copy and digital. The first quarter of 2023 takes us to the West Coast. Oregon's Willamette Valley gets a highly deserved price book cover! The quality of wine produced in this region is growing internationally, rivaling Napa Valley. It's time that California isn't the only West Coast state in the U.S. producing high quality wines!
