We just wrapped up our last core course of the year, Small Farm Planning & Design, where students explored the logistics of farm operation and business. The course integrated a mix of lectures, guest speakers, and field trips to regional farms including Morris Campus Farm, Brooklyn Grange, Rise & Root, and Dig Inn's farm. As part of the final project, students conducted a field assessment of a site currently in the design process and worked in teams to create site plans.
As we approach the end of the year, we hope to see you for our individual courses in Spring 2019. In the meantime, keep an eye out for some opportunities to gather.
