Learn about Old Town businesses with the Only in Old Town Video Series!
Coming this fall, the OTMRA wants to highlight what makes Old Town special through the new Only in Old Town video series. The videos will be personalized for each individual business with a theme chosen by the participant. All videos will be shared on the OTMRA social media platforms and each organization can use the video for their own personal marketing materials. This new chamber program is free for OTMRA business members.

If you are an Old Town business interested in taking part, please fill out this form. Someone from our office will be in touch to coordinate your video. More information can be found here.

Ritual Old Town Takeout Week
In partnership with Ritual, the Old Town Merchants and Residents Association (OTMRA) is excited to hold the first-ever Old Town Takeout Week. From August 24 through August 30, 2020, celebrate the amazing restaurants in Old Town by safely ordering takeout.

With so many cuisines and types to choose from, you might have to try something new every day!

Shop Local with the
Old Town Passport Book
The OTMRA is planning to host a virtual Old Town At Home event on August 29 in lieu of an in-person Wells Street Art Fest this year. In the week leading up to the online event, the OTMRA will have different promotions and programs to celebrate and highlight different businesses in the neighborhood.

To highlight the retailers in our neighborhood, the OTMRA will be creating an Old Town Passport (similar format to the Small Business Saturday Passport Book) to coincide with the Old Town at Home event August 29. This program will encourage shoppers to patron different stores throughout the neighborhood in order to receive different prizes from the OTMRA.

Be on the lookout for more info about Passport Book deals and OTRMA prizes later this month!

Please contact Rachel ([email protected]) with any questions about this promotion.
COVID-19 Resources
The Old Town Merchants and Residents Association is prepared to act as a resource for businesses, educational institutions, and community members interested in staying up-to-date on best practices for responding to COVID-19 ("Coronavirus").

The OTMRA has created a resource guide for all businesses and residents in the community. The guide includes links to financial resources for businesses as well as general information for residents.
The OTMRA is committed to helping businesses get the word out about any promotions they have during this crisis.

Please send any graphics or ads to Marketing and Membership Coordinator Rachel Rubinson at [email protected].
Gear Up with the
Health & Sanitation Rebate Program
As businesses reopen there is a need to make sure that spaces are safe for employees and customers. To help neighborhood businesses prepare, the Old Town Special Service Area #48 and the Old Town Merchants and Residents Association has created The Health & Sanitation Rebate Program.

The Health & Sanitation Rebate Program will be offered to businesses that purchase cleaning supplies that disinfect surfaces, personal protective equipment (PPE) for employees or customers, or other safeguard items aimed at limiting the spread of COVID-19 or other bacterial diseases. Businesses within the Old Town SSA #48 boundaries may apply. For more information and to access the application please click below. If you have any follow up questions, please contact Sam Waldorf at [email protected].

We are excited to announce that we have awarded our first rebate for this program last month. Congratulations Pure Barre Old Town!
