2019 Winter Convocation
An app is now available for this year's Convocation. The app, which is the same one that was used at last year's Convention, can be downloaded at my.yapp.us/DOHIO. The app includes the schedule, a list of presenters, flyers, and more. The theme for this year's Winter Convocation is "Speaking our Faith." As always, it will be at Kalahari Resort and Convention Center in Sandusky. This year's event will run from 7:00 p.m. on Friday,  February 1 through 3:00 p.m. on Saturday,  February 2. Our keynote speaker will be the Rev. Kit Carlson. We will have a second guest speaker, Heidi Carter, who will offer workshops on youth ministry in smaller congregations. Leading us in music will be our own George Baum, rector of St. Timothy's, Massillon; and we are hoping to put together a Convocation Choir. With 16 best practice workshops, a children's program, and a youth program, the Winter Convocation offers something for everyone. The Children's Program will build on the gift of children speaking their faith. Activities and games will let them do what they do so naturally, but in new ways. Registration closes on Sunday, January 27. For more information and to register visit:  https://2019dwc.eventbrite.com .

Shrove Tuesday/Ashes to Go Request
Due to the fact that many parishes offer Shrove Tuesday activities, the
e-bulletin will link to a page on the Diocesan website which will list the various events, rather than having each as an individual post. We would also like to compile a list of parishes offering Ashes to Go (for the website and a press release). To be included in the press release, please send any information regarding your Ashes to Go event to Jessica Rocha at  jrocha@dohio.org  by February 19 .
Parochial Report Information
The forms and instructions are now available on the Diocesan and The Episcopal Church websites.  We are not mailing the forms or instructions to parishes. Please keep in mind the March 1 deadline for filing the report with the Diocesan Finance Office. The Episcopal Church website is available now through May 1. Please contact the Finance Office if you have questions on filing your report.
