Advocacy Tools for Loving Your Neighbor
The Episcopal Church and Evangelical Lutheran Church in America is hosting "Advocacy Tools to Love Thy Neighbor" on July 9 from 12:30-2:00 p.m. This online training will explore the nature of faith-based advocacy issues. Both Presiding Bishop Michael B. Curry and Presiding Bishop Elizabeth Eaton, plus advocacy leaders from both denominations, will take part. Registration will be open until all spots are filled.
Second Sunday Night Compline
Sunday Night Student Compline will meet monthly over the summer, newly dubbed "Second Sunday Student Compline." Our next gathering will be July 12 at 8:00 p.m. on Zoom. Follow our Instagram for more details.
Two Young Adult Gatherings at Bellwether Farm
The first event will take place on July 12, 5:00-8:00 p.m. This event is intended for college-aged individuals. Be prepared for a hike, interacting with the farm animals, and a bonfire. The second event is on July 28 and is for those 18-30(ish). The time is TBD. This will be a workday in conjunction with the Bellwether Book Club. Christian Formation for Children in the Time of
The Rev. Anna Sutterisch, Canon for Christian Formation, conducted a series of interviews regarding Christian Formation for Children in the Time of COVID-19. The intent is that this  video  will serve as a tool to help congregations think about how to engage their youngest members. There will be a Q&A discussion on Monday,  July 13  at 5:30 p.m. Please watch the video before that call.  Registration  for the discussion is open.
Bellwether Book Club
As we continually adjust to new and evolving social norms, Bellwether Farm remains committed to its vocation to teach about environmental fidelity, physical and spiritual wellness, nutrition, local food sourcing, and social justice. In that spirit, we invite you to join our newest initiative: The Bellwether Book Club. Even while we are distanced socially and geographically, this is an opportunity to come together intellectually and spiritually, and further grow the Bellwether community. The first book club book is  Soil and Sacrament: A Spiritual Memoir of Food and Faith by Fred Bahnson. The book club will meet on July 28 ay 7:00 p.m. for a Zoom conversation with the author. Episcopal Diocese of Ohio Young Adult Task Force to Receive 2020 UTO Grant
United Thank Offering announced the grant recipients for the 2020 granting year, and we are excited to share that the Diocese of Ohio will receive funding for Encouraging and Celebrating the Blessings of Young Adults in the Church. The focus of the granting process this year was 'Bless: Share faith, practice generosity and compassion, and proclaim the Good News of God in Christ with hope and humility.'

Safeguarding Online
We are offering online access to the Safeguarding God's Children training. All vestry members, parish leaders, and anyone who interacts with children and youth in the church setting are required and/or encouraged to be trained. To receive login information for the training, please email Mary Ann Semple, Diocesan Safeguarding Coordinator, at with the name and contact information of your clergy person.
A Prayerful Opportunity to Celebrate July 4
The Huron Ministerial will hold a virtual Prayer Gathering which will be available on the Christ Church, Huron  Facebook page beginning on  July 8 at 7:00 p.m. This event is called "A Prayerful Response to the State of our Nation from the Pastors of Huron." Each of the pastors will read from Scripture and speak briefly and then lead participants in prayer. 
Focus on Stained Glass Livestream
Starting with our Annunciation window on the Feast of the Annunciation, St. Timothy's, Massillon, has been live-streaming each Wednesday at 12:30 p.m., featuring one of their treasured stained glass windows, accompanied by live music from one of the parish musicians. The streams are available on the parish Facebook page.
