Monday-Thursday: 9:30am-8pm
Friday: 9:30am-5pm
Saturday: 11am-5pm
Sunday: 1pm-5pm*
*Sunday hours begin on Sept. 12.
We are closed Sunday, Sept 5 for Labor Day weekend.
Due to Ulster County’s level of transmission rating of “high,” following CDC guidance, masks are now required when visiting the Library for all patrons ages 2+.

Special accommodations by appointment.
Our book drop is open!
Items may be returned in our book drop at any time.

Please note: The Library is currently unable to accept book donations. Please do not place book donations in our book drop or leave at our doors when the Library is closed.

Don't have a library card? Join over 5,200 MFL cardholders and start today with a limited access digital card here. Then trade it up for a full-service card at the Library!

During the month of September, the $5.00 replacement fee for lost cards is waived.

Book Club
*In Person* Wednesday, September 29, 7:00 pm
All are welcome to attend our Book Club! During September’s meeting, we will be discussing Dead Wake: The Last Crossing of the Lusitania by Erik Larson.

Book Club will meet in-person at the Library. If you are not comfortable meeting in-person, please email Lindsay at ljankovitz@marlborolibrary.org and she will set you up on Zoom.
Copies have been ordered and are available for pick-up. Registration is required.

Book Barn

The Friends of the Marlboro Library's Book Barn is open the first and third Saturday of the month until October 16, from 10:00 am-2:00 pm.
The Book Barn sells good quality, used books to help benefit the Library.

*2021 HOURS*
Open every 1st & 3rd Saturday,
Now – October, 10 am – 2 pm
(Sep. 4, Sep. 18, Oct. 2 & Oct. 16)
On days when the Book Barn is open, from 12pm-1pm, visitors may purchase one bag of books (bag provided by the Friends group) for $5!

Due to lack of storage, the Book Barn is currently unable to accept any new book donations.

Medicare 101 Webinar
Saturday, October 2, 10:00 am-12:00 pm
Are you currently enrolled in Medicare? Will you be turning 65 over the next year or two? Learn about eligibility, how and when to enroll, when you can make changes, and the insurance options available to you. This webinar will simplify the choices you need to make, help you make well-informed decisions, and explain what Medicare means for you!

Registration is required.
Registrants will be emailed a Zoom link prior to the event.
Family Fall Festival & Used Book Sale
Saturday, October 16, 10:00 am-2:00 pm
Join us for outdoor fun and games for the whole family including a fall story time, a special craft, a fall raffle basket, face painting and more! Halloween costumes are encouraged!

The Book Barn will be open for the last time before closing for the season, so stock up on your used books for the winter during the festival!

Tickets are $10 per family and are available at the circulation desk.
The rain date for this event will be Sunday, October 17, same time.
Dark Side of Marlboro
Historical Walking Tour

The Dark Side of Marlboro annual walking tour is back with some old favorites and brand new stories!
Jail breaks, mobsters, murders, a con man on the run? It didn’t happen in Marlboro....Or did it?

Join us for a spooky walking tour through the village of Marlboro. Guides will take you through town to various historical sites and relate long forgotten tales unearthed in our local history collection and old newspapers.

In-person registration for this event is required. Spaces are limited. Tickets are $8 each and are available for purchase at the circulation desk.

Fall Children's Programs
Program registration opens on Wednesday, September 8 at 10:00 a.m.
Programs begin the week of September 20 and end on December 17. There will be no programs the week of October 17. Registration is required for all programs. Story time programs will be held outside whenever possible.
