Neighborhood Plan Updates
It may be summer, but we are still moving full steam ahead with the River Road-Santa Clara Neighborhood Plan!

Where Are We?
The Community Advisory Committee has led the creation of a neighborhood vision and draft goals and policies. The final step is to craft the action plan to implement those draft goals and policies. This involves fleshing out the specific actions or programs we want to see, who would be responsible for them, and a general estimate for cost and timeframe. We hope to have a complete draft neighborhood plan ready for community input by this fall.

Corridor Study
Thank you to everyone who attended the Corridor Workshop in early June. The River Road Corridor Study is a more focused effort within our neighborhood plan. We received a grant to examine land use, economic, and transportation issues along River Road from NW Expressway to Hunsaker Lane. The Corridor Study will produce land use code to implement the goals created through the neighborhood plan. A questionnaire will be launching this summer and will be advertised via email and our project website.

Summer Outreach Events
Staff and community volunteers will be at a number of events this summer to talk to folks about the Neighborhood Plan and Corridor Study and collect their input. The calendar of events is linked below and is posted on the project website. Let us know if you would like to volunteer to do outreach. We provide the supplies and pair you up with another volunteer.
