What's Next for Great Start to Quality
June 2021
Pilot 1 Complete
On April 30, 2021, the first pilot of the recommended revisions to Great Start to Quality indicators concluded. As with many things over the last year, COVID made it challenging for all programs that were invited to participate. We are grateful to those 105 programs that were able to participate. While that input gave us good data, we would like more.

Beginning this month, the Michigan Department of Education-Office of Great Start will conduct a second pilot, inviting programs who initially shared their interest back in March of 2021, to gather more feedback to help us make better decisions about scoring and rating levels.
